The Beings of the Bible

 Cherubim 

      There is no way to be sure that the cherubim described in the Bible are actually beings.  To the contrary, they are described as having mechanical characteristics and are most likely devices.  They are duplicated in the Temple as ornamentation in spite of the admonition not to create sacred images.  They are most often described as having a protective role as well as to facilitate aerial transportation.
Cloaking cherubim 
♦  Genesis 3:24  So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
      The cherubim, which appears to be some sort of device rather than a being, is placed to protect the Tree of life in the garden.  This device or devices is described as flashing and either rotating or having a constant 360-degree range of coverage. The cherubim are mentioned many times throughout the Bible. They are described as having protective properties and as having the capability of performing various tasks.   Flaming = flashing.  
Yhovah Rides A Cherub And Flies
♦  2 Samuel 22:11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
      Yhovah rides on a 'cherub' and flies on the edge of the wind.   This could indicate a smooth, soaring-like flight, much like a glider.  Wings = extreme edge
Chariot Of The Cherubim
♦  1 Chronicles 28:18  And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the Cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
      Is this to be a representation of Yhovah’s flying vehicles?  
Yhovah Flies A Cherub On The Wind
♦  Psalms 18:10  And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
      Yhovah flies a cherub rapidly on the wings of the wind.  Second fly = to dart or fly rapidly.
Up From The Cherubim             
♦  Isaiah 9:3  And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side
      The glory rises above the cherubim. 
A Sapphire Throne
♦  Ezekiel 10:1  Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a  throne.
      Ezekiel is describing an expanse on top of the four devices that is a structure like a gem in the form of a canopy.  
Wheels And Glowing Objects
♦  Ezekiel 10:2  And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in my sight.
      A being, clothed in white, tells Ezekiel to go to the center of the devices.
Stationed Cherubims
♦  Ezekiel 10:3  Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
Wheels And Cherubim
♦  Ezekiel 10:6  And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels. 
      There are glowing objects between the wheels.
Moving Devices On Cherubim
♦  Ezekiel 10:7  And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.
      The indication that the cherubim literally grabs a glowing object and literally hands it to the being clothed in linen could be Ezekiel's interpretation of the movements of a mechanical device.  See next verse.
Hand-Like Devices On Cherubim
♦  Ezekiel 10:8  And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.
            Form = shape.     

Seraphim

♦  Numbers 8:15  Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
      Seraphim dwell in a great and terrible wilderness.  
♦  Numbers 21:6  And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.  7  Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.  8  And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
      Seraphim are unleashed on the nation.  Fiery serpents = seraphim.   

Elders

A Celestial Council Around The Throne
♦  Revelation 4:4  And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
      Elders = a Sanhedtrist, member of the ruling council.
♦  Revelation 5:11  And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
      Ten thousand = myriads.  Thousands = one thousand.   See  Psalms 68:17 

Men 

A Copper Being
♦  Isaiah 40:3  And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the\gate.
      Ezekiel encounters a man who appeared as copper colored metal.
A Man Appears
♦  Isaiah 43:6  And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
      A being appears beside Ezekiel.
Appearance Of A Man
♦  Daniel  8:15  And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
      A being that looked like a man appears before Daniel.
The Transfiguration Cloud
♦  Mark 9:4  And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.  5  And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.  6  For he wist not what to say;  for they were sore afraid.  7  And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. 8  And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. 
      This is known as the “Transfiguration”.  Jesus tells his apostles that some of them will see the realm of God before they die.  Jesus is praying and his appearance changes.  His clothes became pure white and gleaming.  Two men appear with Jesus and a cloud enveloped them with a brilliant haze and suddenly the two men disappear.
A Young Man In The Tomb
♦  Mark 16:3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? 4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. 5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. 6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
The Transfiguration And Bright Lights
♦  Luke 9:29  And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.  30  And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:  31  Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. 32  But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.  33  And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.  
      The transfiguration is the account of an aerial visitation to Jesus by two beings that discuss the coming crucifixion.
two Men In White Apparel
♦  Acts 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;  11  Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
      Two men, who suddenly appeared, stated that Jesus, who they just saw ascending into the sky, would return from the sky in the same manner as that which they had just witnessed.
A Man In Radiant Clothing
♦  Acts 10:30  And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
      A man, in radiant clothing, suddenly appears. 

Saints 

Ten Thousand Saints
♦  Deuteronomy  33:2  And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a  fiery law for them.  
      In the phrase ' fiery law for them ', law for them was added. It should say from his right hand went a fire.  The saints may be the first mention of the army that Yahweh commands
